On July 10, 2025, SUNLU celebrates its 12th anniversary in the 3D printing industry. To mark the occasion, the company is hosting a month-long "Unleash Your Creativity" campaign featuring discounts, gifts, and giveaways. Prizes include, among other things, 1,000 spools of filament. In addition, the company has introduced a new product: the AMS Heater for Bambu Lab's P1 and X1 series printers.
The AMS Heater enables simultaneous filament drying and direct printing. It is a more affordable alternative to Bambu Lab's proprietary AMS 2 Pro, though it may not match the original in all aspects. Installation takes just two minutes.
The AMS Heater reaches a temperature of 70 °C in about 20 minutes and is compact enough to allow multi-color printing without requiring extra space. Users can simply replace the standard AMS cover with the heater. It features an integrated fan-heating system for uniform, continuous drying. The intelligent humidity control system monitors the humidity inside the AMS system in real time and activates dehumidification when necessary to ensure low humidity for the filament.
A PTC heating element serves as an additional safety feature. Temperature control is managed via software to prevent filament deformation or damage. The heater is designed to maintain a constant temperature during operation. The ventilation openings on the top must be opened or closed manually. An alarm sounds in the event of unusual temperature fluctuations.
The pre-order phase for the AMS Heater begins today and runs until August 25. The introductory price is €99.99. The final retail price will be approximately €120.
