SUNLU ASA filament is a high-performance 3D printing material specifically developed for outdoor use. It offers excellent weather resistance and reliably withstands UV radiation, rain, and high temperatures. As a result, it remains colorfast and dimensionally stable even with long-term outdoor use.
Thanks to its high strength and excellent toughness, ASA is both robust and resilient, making it ideal for components and structures that must withstand long-term external stress.
Achieve flawless ASA prints with the guidelines tested by SUNLU:
Temperature Control: Optimize the nozzle temperature between 250 and 280 °C for a consistent material flow without leaking.
Optimal Adhesion: Use a print bed heated to 90–110 °C with a glue stick or a PEI sheet to prevent warping.
Speed & Cooling: We recommend a nozzle temperature of 250–260 °C and a print speed of 50–100 mm/s; alternatively, a nozzle temperature of 260–280 °C, a print speed of 100–200 mm/s, and a bed temperature of 80–120 °C (176–248 °F).

PLA is a food-safe material, but toner is added to the filament during the production process, and it can also become contaminated by the print nozzle during the printing process. Therefore, we recommend that you do not use PLA for printing tableware.
